Weber Blackstone in Palatine, IL seeks a Sourcing Manager for Gas Train and Electronics to lead global supplier strategies, manage commodity programs, and drive cost and risk reduction. You will collaborate across Product Management, Finance, Regulatory, Engineering, and Operations to align sourcing with development timelines.

You will oversee supplier performance, drive NPI sourcing, and lead contract strategies while working in a dynamic, regulated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or technically related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6–10 years’ experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, or similar.
• People management experience is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is a plus.
• Project management experience

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and implement sourcing strategies with stakeholders to align with objectives.
• Manage design, sourcing, and delivery to support released products.
• Identify supplier productivity and drive supply chain efficiency opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional reviews to align suppliers with company needs.
• Own and manage NPI sourcing, RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and data management.
• Drive contract closure with Legal and business partners, including negotiation strategies.
• Utilize Preferred Supplier Management to formalize supplier relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
