Qualifikationen

• Experience leading or mentoring buyers.
• Strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Must have some sort of metals or fabrication manufacturing experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a team of buyers, and oversee daily purchasing activity
• Manage your own material categories from sourcing through delivery
• Build sourcing strategies that support cost, quality and delivery goals
• Find, onboard and manage suppliers, including performance reviews and corrective actions
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts, and find ways to cut costs
• Own inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and inventory transactions
• Set purchasing policies and procedures, and follow ISO standards
• Report on spend, supplier performance and cost savings
