This role is part of the Procurement Services team, responsible for centralized sourcing, contract negotiation, purchasing, and vendor management across WPS. The team supports revenue-generating ventures and vendor-related business development. The Sourcing Manager will lead solicitations, requirements gathering, sourcing, and contract negotiations for IT and non-IT goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement processes and best practices to achieve optimal outcomes.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 (based on experience and skills).

Work Location: Remote in specified states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Contracting (60%)

• Manage supplier selection through RFQ, RFI, and RFP processes, aligning requirements with business leadership and strategic plans.
• Lead contract review and approval processes in collaboration with stakeholders and Legal.
• Develop deep category knowledge and leverage industry expertise for benchmarking and best practices.
• Drive competitive supply strategies to minimize costs and track savings.

1. Business Development and Relationship Management (20%)

• Support sourcing and contracting for new ventures, including researching, strategy development, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with business development teams on proposals and contracts.
• Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, legal, compliance, security, and key suppliers.

1. Supply Chain Risk Management (20%)

• Apply risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier accountability.
• Manage contract portfolios, monitor performance, and participate in vendor management system implementation.
