Fiskars Group seeks a Strategic Sourcing & Category Management leader to enhance global sourcing strategies for ceramics products. This role involves market analysis, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization while promoting sustainability in procurement processes. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
• Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for ceramics products to meet cost, quality and delivery objectives.
• Analyse market trends, supplier landscapes and competitive benchmarks to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, R&D, BU, Logistics, Raw material and manufacturing) to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
• Define and manage the product portfolio, ensuring competitiveness and innovation in the ceramic category
Supplier Relationship Management
• Identify, evaluate and onboard global ceramics suppliers with a focus on cost, quality, innovation and sustainability.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal terms including pricing, delivery schedules and quality standard.
• Build and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and ensure reliability.
• Monitor supplier performance through Global Sourcing KPIs
• Collaborate with QEHS for conduct regular audit and assessments to ensure adherence to ethical and environment standards.
Cost optimization and Value Creation
• Implement cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative materials, suppliers or processes without compromising quality.
• Drive initiatives to reduce lead times, Collaborate with logistics team for improve logistics and minimize waste in Supply chain
• Leverage data analytic to identify cost reduction opportunities (Total Landed Cost)
Sustainability and Innovation
• Collaborate with suppliers to integrate sustainable practices in materials and manufacturing processes.
• Drive innovation by sourcing advanced ceramic production process and material, exploring new production idea initiates
Capability Building
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Implement skill enhancement programs to improve technical knowledge of ceramics product and global supply chain dynamics.
• Encourage knowledge sharing across teams to align global sourcing strategies effectively.
Risk Management
• Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions, including geopolitical risks and supply shortage.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
