• Build and execute sourcing strategy across direct materials, indirect materials, services, and logistics.
• Analyze spend to consolidate purchases and realize savings; stop off-contract buying.
• Identify, qualify, onboard suppliers, and hold them to scorecards on cost, quality, delivery.
• Lead RFQ and RFP processes from definition to award recommendation.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to reduce total cost of ownership and keep records clean.
• Deliver measurable savings and procurement KPIs; report spend under management.
• Set purchasing policy, thresholds, and standards; support escalation with Buyer/Planner.
• Partner with Finance on cost modeling and with Product Development on make-versus-buy.

Sourcing Manager

We are hiring our first dedicated Sourcing Manager. As our purchasing volume and supplier base grow, we need one person who owns sourcing strategy end to end — consolidating spend, building supplier leverage, and negotiating terms that protect our margins and our supply continuity.

This is a category-owner role with real negotiating authority. No direct reports — the impact here is commercial, not headcount.

What You Will Do

• Build and execute sourcing strategy across direct materials, indirect materials, services, and logistics.

• Analyze spend to find consolidation and savings opportunities, and shut down off-contract buying.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers, and hold them to scorecards on cost, quality, and delivery.
• Lead RFQ and RFP processes end to end, from requirement definition through award recommendation.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts that reduce total cost of ownership — and keep the records clean.
• Deliver and report measurable savings, spend under management, and procurement KPIs.
• Set purchasing policy, approval thresholds, and buying standards, and support the Buyer / Planner on escalations.
• Partner with Finance on cost modeling, and with Product Development on make-versus-buy and component cost reduction.

What You Bring

• 5–8+ years in purchasing or procurement, including supplier negotiation and category management.
• A track record of measurable cost savings delivered through strategic sourcing.
• Experience running competitive bids and negotiating supplier contracts.
• Strong analytical skills — total cost of ownership modeling, spend analysis, ERP systems, advanced Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A prepared, commercially sharp negotiator who can influence across Operations, Finance, and Product Development.

Bonus points for procurement certification (CPSM, CIPS, CPM), electronics or contract manufacturing sourcing, or international sourcing experience.

Occasional domestic and international travel to supplier and contract manufacturer sites
