Meyer Sound in Berkeley, CA seeks a Director of Procurement to lead global sourcing, supplier management, and contract execution. You will partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Finance to secure a resilient, cost-effective supply base and support growth and innovation.

Reporting to the COO, you will consolidate supplier relationships, drive spend optimization, and establish multi-source strategies to mitigate risks. Extensive travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of procurement and supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Proven success in global sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiation.
• Experience with NPI processes and a mix of in-house manufacturing, contract manufacturing, ODM, and JDM environments.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Experience driving supplier consolidation and enterprise spend management.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Position Summary

Reporting to the COO the Lead Meyer Sound’s global procurement strategy to ensure a resilient, cost-effective, and scalable supply base. Drive supplier performance, contract management, sourcing excellence, and risk mitigation while partnering across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support growth and innovation. A key focus is consolidating supplier relationships and leveraging enterprise-wide spend to maximize value, simplify operations, and strengthen strategic partnerships. The hiring range for the role is $116K to $339K annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related qualifications, experience, education, skills, geographic location, and alignment with internal compensation practices
