Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing for behind-the-meter transmission infrastructure critical to large-scale AI training clusters. You will partner with power systems engineers and energy leads to define commodity strategy, build multi-year roadmaps, and secure reliable, high-quality supply at aggressive build cadences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 3+ years in business, supply chain, or engineering; or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years in global supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or commodity management focused on power systems, electrical transmission, or energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Co-define commodity strategy and roadmaps with engineers and energy teams.
• Own end-to-end global sourcing, supplier qualification, and multi-sourcing.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with pricing, volume commitments, and priority allocation.
• Deploy analytics, demand forecasting, and supply chain visibility to mitigate risks.
• Drive cost leadership via value engineering and total cost of ownership optimization.
• Lead supplier innovation programs and driver for high-efficiency, modular designs.
• Build a world-class supply base through executive reviews and joint development.
• Set KPIs for cost, quality, speed, and resilience with leadership review.
• Mentor cross-functional teams on supply chain best practices.
