Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to lead supplier development, cost reduction, and process improvements in our supply chain.

The role will collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and finance teams, manage supplier quality tracking, and ensure timely delivery while optimizing inventory and ERP processes. Some domestic and international travel (<20%) is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Related sourcing experience in materials, components, and services.
• Experience with steel, aluminum, wood and/or plastics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong problem solving and project management in operations or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in purchasing including supplier development and cost reduction.
• Apply statistics to identify improvements in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Sourcing for new and existing products; manage ERP processes.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities to meet business demands.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate issues to management.
• Manage supplier quality tracking from issue creation to closure.
