Job summary

Revelyst Golf Technology seeks a highly technical Sourcing Engineer to join the Product Development team. You will partner with Engineering to identify components, evaluate suppliers, and develop manufacturing solutions that optimize performance, cost, and time-to-market.

Based in Carlsbad, CA, you will support prototypes, validation, pilot runs and launches. You will collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical and Firmware teams to ensure robust designs and scalable production, while mitigating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in product development, supplier/manufacturing engineering, NPI or related roles.
• Experience with consumer electronics, connected devices, sporting goods, or complex hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specs, schematics and BOMs.
• Strong understanding of plastics, metals, electronics, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience supporting prototypes, engineering builds, validation, pilot production, and launches.
• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis, FMEA, and root-cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering to evaluate components, technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes for new product development.
• Research emerging technologies and suppliers to improve performance, quality, cost and time-to-market.
• Support component selection and architecture decisions during design and development.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical and Firmware teams to optimize manufacturability, reliability, quality and scalability.
• Participate in design reviews and provide sourcing and manufacturing expertise.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and processes to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Support prototype builds, engineering validation, pilot production, and NPI activities.
• Identify technical, manufacturing and supply risks early and recommend mitigations.
• Support DFM, DFA and DFA initiatives.
• Work with Operations and Manufacturing to ensure smooth transfer to production.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and supplier capabilities relevant to golf tech and consumer electronics.
