Target is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to translate analytics into actionable insights for Owned Brands Food & Beverage sourcing. You will support category strategies by interpreting cost drivers and shaping negotiation approaches, collaborating with global analytics resources.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in analytics, finance, or sourcing.
• Strong analytical modeling skills (Excel).
• Experience interpreting cost drivers (commodities, labor, freight, FX, packaging).
• Proven ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Translate analytics into clear insights, trade-offs, and recommendations that accelerate sourcing decisions.
• Interpret cost/change and should-cost outputs to inform negotiation strategy.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to support category strategy and innovation decisions.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity analysis tied to real business questions.
• Provide real-time analytical judgment in meetings, negotiations, and leadership discussions.
• Develop leadership-ready narratives that connect data to business impact.
• Direct and leverage global analytics resources to align with decision needs.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and executive requests.
