We are seeking a detail-oriented analytical Sourcing Analyst to join our Capital Sourcing team. You will be responsible for supporting procurement strategies, assisting in the evaluation of suppliers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the requirements of our capital expenditure (CAPEX). Reporting to the CAPEX and MRO Sourcing Manager, you will handle the working relationships with our facilities to understand, execute, and source the right machinery from vetted suppliers, establish and maintain RFI’s and RFPs for strategic initiatives, and help to execute legal contracts accordingly following a set purchasing strategy.
2-4 years of Sourcing work experience, supporting operations/manufacturing/ fulfillment functions.
Experience with executing Sourcing Events in the Capex & MRO categories
Strong Business Acumen
Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of leadership & the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
Understanding of operational flows within a facility.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Experience with MRO Spend management
Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities
Develop negotiation skills and contract optimization skills
BS/BA degree in business management or related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical environments is a plus but not required.
Up to 10-20% travel
Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet company requirements.
Analyze and compare supplier quotations, recommend selections, and assist in negotiation processes to achieve the best value.
Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies to optimize procurement costs and ensure timely project execution.
Collaborate with business owners to understand project sourcing needs and timing.
Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.
Regular supplier relationship management activities to ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement.
