Job summary

Unitek Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Source Inspector for a full-time, 3-6 month assignment with potential extension. The role requires performing in-process and final inspections per AS9102 and reading complex drawings with GD&T.

The candidate must travel to support suppliers in Central Florida, work 1st or 2nd shift, and be a US citizen with a W2 employment setup. Calipers and micrometers proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Perform in-process and final source inspections per AS9102.
• Read and interpret complex drawings and GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5.
• Familiarity with handheld measuring tools is required.

Title: Source Inspector

Job Description

• The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards (Basic inspection requirements, ability to read a PO, drawing, determine if an FAI has been approved)
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5. (This position would need to know how to inspect parts GD&T, knowledge of handheld measuring tools (calipers, mics, etc)
• A checklist will be provided for reference.

Also the candidate must pass a GE quiz.

Note

• It is a full-time assignment for 3-6 months, with possible extension. 1st and 2nd shift work, 7 days/week
• Candidate should be willing to travel, but able to support suppliers in Central Florida.
• Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time
• W2 contract position to work on as needed basis
