A prominent technical services provider located in Hartford, CT, is seeking an Aerospace Source Inspector to perform product source inspections, including in-process, final, and first article inspections. Candidates must possess hands-on dimensional inspection experience and the ability to read complex engineering drawings. This role supports source inspection activities at various customer-supplier locations, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements.
• Experience with dimensional inspection is required.
• Understanding of geometrical dimensions and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform product source inspections at various stages of production.
• Verify compliance of aircraft structures through mechanical measurement.
• Support Source Inspection activity at customer-supplier locations.

Aerospace Source Inspector

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• The ability to perform product source inspections including in-process, final, and first article inspections per AS9102 and customer requirements. Experience with hands‑on dimensional inspection is required.
• The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensions and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
• The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, cast, forged, and assembled aircraft structures.
