Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA is seeking a Textile Sorter to process and sort donated textiles, keep the production area clean and safe, and ensure proper dress code and appearance. The role focuses on accurate sorting by quality and brand, with attention to organization and safety standards.

The candidate should have experience in retail or stock handling, basic math, and basic computer skills, and be capable of standing for long periods while maintaining a neat workspace.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sort donated textiles and separate non-sellable items.
• Sort textiles and place non-seasonal back stock items in designated back stock boxes.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe production area.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and wear proper dress code including name badge.
• Attend trainings as directed by Team Leader and perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader, the Textile Sorter is to process and sort all textile donations. Primary duties include sorting donated textiles based on quality and brand.
