Job summary

AMP Robotics Corp. in Portsmouth, Virginia is seeking a Production Operator to perform pre and post‑operative inspections, safely operate equipment, and monitor systems to minimize downtime.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of experience with manufacturing equipment, English proficiency, and a commitment to safety. Schedule Tuesday–Friday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; pay $18.00–$24.00 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience operating similar or manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Understand and follow safety procedures.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Regular on-site attendance; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operative equipment inspections.
• Safely operate all equipment.
• Complete service/inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored after shift.
• Follow quality control protocols and report deviations.
• Adhere to safety requirements.
