Northwest Specialists For Women and Women's Health Consulting, practice partners of Together Women’s Health (TWH), have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Sonographer to join our team.

This is a full-time position on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, consisting of 3, 10-hour shifts.

The Sonographer is responsible for acquiring ultrasound images used in medical diagnoses, performing sonography according to applicable standards, and aligning with the organization’s policies, values, and mission. Our technicians maintain an understanding of the team approach to patient care and documentation.

Applicants with breast ultrasound certification will be prioritized.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Greet all patients courteously and ensure their needs are met.
  • Review patient identification and verify physician orders.
  • Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, explaining procedures and equipment, and answering questions.
  • Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate data to physicians.
  • Maximize ultrasound production and quality by following standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Document patient ultrasound services through record charting.
  • Participate in process improvement activities related to quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Talents you’ll bring to TWH
  • Graduate of a certified ultrasound program required.
  • ARDMS certification and good standing required.
  • Extensive experience in OB/GYN ultrasound required.
  • Breast ultrasound certification highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with patients.
