Northwest Specialists For Women and Women's Health Consulting, practice partners of Together Women’s Health (TWH), have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Sonographer to join our team!

This is a full-time position on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, consisting of 3, 10-hour shifts.

The Sonographer is responsible for acquiring ultrasound images used in medical diagnoses. The technician performs sonography following applicable standards of practice and organizational policies, values, and mission. Our technicians support a team approach to patient care and documentation.

Applicants with breast ultrasound certification will be given priority.

How you’ll make an impact

• Greet patients courteously and meet their needs
• Review patient identification and verify physician orders
• Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, explaining procedures, and answering questions
• Review images, make initial observations, document deviations from protocols, and communicate data to physicians
• Maximize ultrasound production and quality by following standards and procedures
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to standards
• Document ultrasound services through patient record charting
• Participate in process improvement activities within radiology, including quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeats, and patient satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned

Talents you’ll bring to TWH

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program required
• ARDMS certification and good standing required
• Extensive OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
• Breast ultrasound certification highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with patients
