Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures. You will operate ultrasound equipment, prepare rooms, and deliver patient-centered care in a safe environment.

The role requires ARDMS RDMS & RVT, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. You will also handle clerical duties and support quality control and PI monitoring efforts.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification with RDMS and RVT required.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC; graduate of accredited medical radiography program.
• Clinical rotation or at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Familiar with ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures; strong manual dexterity and critical thinking.

Shift & Compensation

Hourly wage estimate: $37.45 – $56.19 per hour. Position is weekend nights. Shift runs Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM. An additional $6.25 / hour differential is provided on top of the base rate for all hours worked.

Job Summary

Individual performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the mission, vision, and values of the company. Is able to provide care to assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment. Maintains technical skills and is responsible for using equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning.
• Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting quality control on equipment.

Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications required.
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
• Clinical rotation or at least 1 year of clinical experience.
• Familiar with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures. High degree of manual, critical thinking skills, and dexterity necessary for operation of equipment and patient care.
