Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a 4x10 day shift (Tuesday–Friday, 11:30 AM–10:00 PM). You will perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography, relay findings to the interpreting physician, and monitor patients during procedures.

Applicants should have 2+ years of relevant training, completion of specialized education, and current licensure or registry eligibility (ARRT/ARDMS/CCI).

Qualifications

• Education: 2–3 years of post‑high school training in radiologic technology, ultrasonography or related field, or on‑the‑job training.
• Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, CCI or equivalent; registry eligible candidates must obtain status within 3 years; CPR certification.
• Experience: 2+ years of related education or training in radiologic technology/ultrasonography.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures.

About the job:

Conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures in order to provide data used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment purposes. Relays pertinent clinical information to the interpreting physician and observes patients during procedures for any abnormalities.

• Education: Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training/education.
• Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), equivalent certification or Registryeligible. Registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 3 years of hire. CPR certification.
