Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Weekend Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography. You will relay clinical information to the interpreting physician and observe patients for any abnormalities during procedures.

Requirements include 2–3 years of relevant education in radiologic technology or ultrasonography, CPR certification, and appropriate licensure eligibility. This is a weekend shift with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

• Experience with ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting.
• CPR certification is required as part of licensure guidelines.
• Two years of related education or on-the-job training preferred.

Hours: (9:30 AM - 10:00 PM)

Location: Mishawaka, IN

Conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures in order to provide data used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment purposes. Relays pertinent clinical information to the interpreting physician and observes patients during procedures for any abnormalities.

• Education: Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training/education.
• Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), equivalent certification or Registryeligible. Registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 3 years of hire. CPR certification.
• Experience: Completion of at least two years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training.
