Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for weekend nights (Sat 6:30 PM–Sun 7:00 AM). You will perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography, relay findings to physicians, and monitor patients during procedures.

Required education and licensure include two/three years of relevant education beyond high school in radiologic technology or ultrasonography, ARRT/ARDMS/CCI or equivalent, and CPR certification. Prior experience preferred.

• Experience: Completion of at least two years of related education beyond high school in radiologic technology, ultrasonography, or related education.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures and relays pertinent clinical information to the interpreting physician.
• Observes patients during procedures for any abnormalities and monitors safety throughout the study.

About the job:

Conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures in order to provide data used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment purposes. Relays pertinent clinical information to the interpreting physician and observes patients during procedures for any abnormalities.
