Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a 3x12 weekend night shift (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).

The role conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography, relays findings to the interpreting physician, and ensures patient safety during procedures. Requires ARRT/ARDMS/RDCS/CCI eligibility and CPR certification; 2+ years of related education/experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training/education.
• Registry eligibility: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or equivalent; CPR certification.
• Experience: completion of at least two years of related education or on the job training beyond high school.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures to aid physicians' diagnoses and treatment.
• Relay pertinent clinical information to interpreting physicians and document observations during procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures to identify any abnormalities and ensure safety.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to quality and safety standards.

About the job:

Conducts diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures in order to provide data used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment purposes. Relays pertinent clinical information to the interpreting physician and observes patients during procedures for any abnormalities.

Requirements:

• Education: Completion of two/three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training/education.
• Licensure: ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), equivalent certification or Registryeligible. Registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 12 months of hire. CPR certification.
• Experience: Completion of at least two years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in radiologictechnology, ultrasonography, other related education, or on the job training.
