Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This is a temporary/PRN position with varied shifts and a pay range of $42.00 - $58.00 per hour based on experience.

You will operate scanners to produce diagnostic images with a patient-centered approach. Requirements include AMA accredited sonography program or CAAHEP, ARDMS registration, imaging specialty certification, state license if applicable, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA accredited sonography program or CAAHEP.
• Registered ARDMS sonographer, current and in good standing.
• Sonography certification in imaging specialty.
• Licensed Sonographer in the appropriate state (if applicable).
• CPR certification.
• Ability to perform sonography procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images with patient care.
• Screen patients and prepare them for imaging procedures.
• Communicate with patients throughout procedures and maintain RIS records.
• Maintain equipment sanitation and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with imaging protocol updates and training as needed.
