Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist for on-site, temporary/PRN work. You will operate scanners to produce diagnostic images and ensure high-quality patient care within safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS-registered, has an AMA or CAAHEP-accredited education, and holds CPR certification. Prior licensure in the appropriate state is required if applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited sonography program or CAAHEP-accredited program.
• Registered ARDMS sonographer in good standing.
• Licensed Sonographer in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform sonography procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound scanners to produce diagnostic images.
• Screen and prep patients, explain procedures and position for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced sonography with minimal supervision.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and keep work area clean.
• Assists with updating imaging protocol manuals and training.
