Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a day shift with a variable schedule. Under the supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, you will perform medical sonograms and exercise professional judgment to ensure safe patient care.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and 12 months of ultrasound education or experience. ARDMS (or in process) and BLS/CPR are needed within orientation. 1–2 years of clinical experience is preferred.

• Minimum 12 months of ultrasound education or practical experience.
• ARDMS certification or in process; CPR/BLS required within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical sonograms and related procedures.
• Exercise professional judgment in performance procedures.

Job description

This is a Day Shift position with variable schedule.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, t he Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound

Licensures/ Certifications:

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
• Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period

Experience:

• 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred

Skills and Abilities:

• Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
