Join to apply for the SONOGRAPHER CARDIOVASCULAR role at Vandalia Health Davis.

Position Summary: Performs diagnostic Cardiovascular Ultrasound studies under the direction of the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Department. Coordinates technical activities to ensure efficient diagnostic services. Assists with scheduling cardiovascular procedures to maximize efficiency. Provides care to patients in acute, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Maintains equipment and facilities. Performs diagnostic echocardiograms for evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.

Position Qualifications:

1. Satisfactory completion of an approved Sonography program or Allied Health Program.
2. Sonography experience required to be registry eligible by ARDMS or CCI, or sufficient clinical experience in an allied health profession.
3. Required Certification/Registry in one ultrasound modality by ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI within two (2) years of employment.
4. BLS Certification.
5. Physical Demands: Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients; lifts supplies and equipment.
6. Working Conditions: Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards, infectious diseases/materials.
