Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates in Minnesota seeks a Temporary Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist to perform 2D/3D echocardiography, Doppler, and related studies. The role requires 1+ year of cardiac sonography experience and a degree from an accredited echocardiography program.

Certifications: RDCS or RCS plus BLS; must assist with TEE, operate EMR, and be flexible to work at all HVI locations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cardiac sonography experience.
• RDCS or RCS certification required with BLS.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Echocardiography program.
• Proficient in 2D/3D echo, Doppler, tissue Doppler, strain imaging and related techniques.
• Ability to perform TEE assistance and use EMR systems.
• Capable of IV insertion for contrast/bubble studies and aseptic technique.

Job description

Temporary Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography Technologist:

• Experience: 1+ year of cardiac sonography experience.
• Certifications: RDCS or RCS + BLS (AHA/ARC) – required.
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Echocardiography program.
• Clinical Skills: 2D/3D echo, M-mode, Doppler, tissue Doppler, strain imaging, bubble studies, contrast echo, stress echo, and structural heart imaging.
• Additional Skills: IV insertion for contrast/bubble studies, EKG rhythms, and aseptic technique.
• TEE: Must be able to assist with 2D/3D TEE procedures.
• EMR: Must be comfortable using electronic medical records.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work at all HVI locations as needed.
