Novant Health is seeking a highly skilled Sonographer at Stokes Medical Center in Kentucky. This advanced role emphasizes precision imaging, patient connection, and leadership within Diagnostic Radiology.

Part-time schedule—Thurs & Fri, 7p–7a—offers flexible coverage while maintaining high standards of care. You will perform advanced ultrasound procedures, mentor colleagues, support quality initiatives, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver timely, accurate results.

Qualifications

  • 2-year/associate degree required.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography program.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in sonography.
  • Applicable state license required.
  • ARDMS registration in three specialties: vascular tech required; pediatric or OB/GYN required; breast sonography excluded from one of the three.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced ultrasound procedures with high imaging quality.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for sonography team members.
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and care teams to deliver timely, accurate results.

What We're Looking For
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program, required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in sonography, required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Certified and registered by ARDMS in three specialties. Vascular Technology is a required specialty. Pediatric Sonography or Obstetrics and Gynecology is a required specialty. Breast Sonography is excluded from one of the three required, required.
    • Vascular Technology – by ARRT in Vascular Sonography; RT(S)(VS) or RDMS, RT(VS) or, ARDMS in Vascular Technology; RDMS, RVT, VT or by CCI in Vascular Ultrasound; RT(S), RVS or RDMS, RVS, required.
    • Pediatric Sonography – RDMS, PS or Obstetrics/Gynecology – RDMS, OB/GYN, required.
    • Applicable state license, required.
