Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Sonographer for night shift and weekdays only. You will perform diagnostic general, ob/gyn, and vascular studies, including TCD, and provide written reports.

The ideal candidate holds BCLS, RVT or RDMS credentials, and RDMS-OB/GYN eligibility. This role is at a 600+ bed hospital within the Memorial Health system, part of HCA Healthcare, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic general, OB/GYN, advanced vascular, and invasive procedures, including TCD studies.
• Provide oral and written summaries of the technical findings.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for performing diagnostic general, ob/gyn, advanced vascular, and invasive procedures (therapeutic and diagnostic), TCD studies, as well as provide an oral and written summary of the technical finding. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.
