Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA seeks a Sonographer for night shift, weekdays only. The role involves diagnostic general, OB/GYN, advanced vascular and invasive procedures, plus TCD studies and formal reporting of findings. Compliance with hospital policies is essential.

Required certifications include RDMS or ARRRT or RDMS-OB/GYN, RVT, and BLS within 30 days of employment. 6 months experience preferred; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RVT certification must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• RDMS or ARRRT or RDMS-OB/GYN credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic general, OB/GYN, advanced vascular and invasive procedures (therapeutic and diagnostic).
• Conduct TCD studies and provide oral and written summaries of findings.
• Adhere to Compliance Program and policies; report non-compliance as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for performing diagnostic general, ob/gyn, advanced vascular, and invasive procedures (therapeutic and diagnostic), TCD studies, as well as provide an oral and written summary of the technical finding. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non-compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanisms.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology
