We are currently seeking a full-time Sonographer to join one of the most prestigious oncology specialty centers located in Brighton, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures to support the diagnosis and treatment of oncology patients. You will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists, oncologists, and medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Hourly $27.00-$45.00

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting; oncology experience preferred but not required.

Job Duties:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols, with a focus on oncology-related imaging.
Evaluate the quality and consistency of images and ensure optimal imaging for diagnosis.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the electronic medical system.
Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
