Rochester Regional Health Imaging Center in Bay Creek, Webster, NY is seeking a Per Diem Sonographer to perform abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and neurovascular exams, acquiring high-quality images and assisting Radiologists. The role emphasizes patient care, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a busy imaging department.
Requires Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound; RDMS certification within 6–18 months depending on start date.
STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Imaging Center - Bay Creek DEPARTMENT: Imaging SCHEDULE: Per Diem;7:45 am - 4:15 pm M-F; half day on saturday approx every 6-10 weeks
SUMMARY As a Sonographer, you play an important part in high-quality imaging exams needed to deliver quality care to our patients. Performs or assists in the performance of Vascular, Abdominal, OB/GYN, or Neurovascular Sonography exams. The primary objective is to obtain high-quality images and maximize the efficiency of the Radiologist or Neurologist while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a consistent level of quality.

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

$35.00 - $47.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
