Job summary

VOLTO Consulting is seeking an Experienced Sonographer in Morristown, NJ to perform high-quality Adult Echo studies in a premier cardiac center. You will bring inpatient echo experience with a documented minimum of 200 cases, strong valvular assessment using spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills, and proficiency with contrast echo and agitated saline studies.

Qualifications

• Adult echocardiography experience in a premier cardiac center.
• Inpatient echo experience with at least 200 cases documented.
• Valvular assessment with spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.

• Ability to work independently and respond to critical findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality Adult Echo studies following ASE and IAC guidelines.
• Support inpatient echo workflow and timely reporting.

Job description

• Experienced Sonographer to perform high quality Adult Echo studies as per ASE & IAC Guidelines in a premiere cardiac center.
• Dedicated inpatient echo work experience is a must. Experience documented by institutional referral with a minimum of 200 inpatient cases in echocardiography.
• Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.
• Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies.
• Ability to work independently, recognize abnormalities and quickly respond to critical findings.

• Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• TEE and Stress Echo experience.
• Familiarity with 3D echo imaging.
• TAVR, Mitral Clip, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, VAD, closure device protocols.
• Maintaining ICAEL-accreditation echo lab standards.
• Experience using Philips ie33 and Epiq systems.
• Familiarity with Epic hospital information system.

Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun 9a-7p. Techs MUST HAVE TAVR TTE experience scanning pre TAVr treatment patients with crticial Aortic stenosis - this must be reflected on their resume as well. The department only needs high end techs with a lot od experince or have worked for a valve center/structural heart facility.
