Job summary

BB Imaging in Richland, WA is seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer to join our sonographer-led team. You will work closely with physician partners, perform specialized obstetric ultrasound exams, and provide compassionate patient care across multiple clinic sites.

You will review charts, document findings, mentor new team members, and help advance high-risk OB imaging. This role requires RDMS with OB/GYN, and at least 1 year of high-risk OB or MFM experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
• 1+ years high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience.
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN.
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
• HIPAA compliance with EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures.
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule‑out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures

IS THIS YOU?

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
