Job summary

MedlinkHealth Anesthesia in Batesville, AR seeks a Temporary Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer to perform adult cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound examinations in a regional referral healthcare setting.

The role requires RDCS or RCS with vascular registration, active AHA BLS certification, and 2+ years of cardiac and vascular sonography experience. Weekend call includes every Saturday with a 30-minute response and weekday night coverage.

Qualifications

• RDCS or RCS with vascular registration required.
• Active AHA BLS certification required.
• 2+ years cardiac and vascular sonography experience required.
• Experience with adult TTE, TEE assistance, stress echo, and peripheral vascular studies.
• Independent IV insertion and Definity contrast experience.
• Experience with MediTech EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), including studies with and without Definity contrast.
• Assist with TEE and stress echocardiography procedures.
• Perform venous, carotid, arterial, reflux, ABI, and vein mapping studies.
• Assist physicians with specialized diagnostic procedures and ultrasound-guided interventions.
• Perform IV insertion for contrast administration.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure complete documentation.
• Use MediTech EMR and Philips PACS.
• Maintain patient safety and follow department protocols.
• Clean and maintain ultrasound equipment between patients.
• Participate in the required Saturday and weekday call schedule.

Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
Weekend: Every Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Call: One weekday night per week with a 30-minute response requirement.
