Job summary

Boone Hospital Center is seeking a qualified ultrasound technician to perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound exams. Qualifications

Job Summary

EchoVascular Ultrasound: Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo exams, and vascular ultrasound exams. Procedures include carotid Doppler, ABI/arterial Doppler, venous Doppler (DVT and venous reflux).

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiovascular ultrasound imaging examinations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including the Cardiac Cath Lab and Operating Room.
• Maintain and service ultrasound equipment and supplies.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures.
• Collaborate with reading physicians and medical staff for diagnosis.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (minimum).
• Less than 2 years of experience.
• No supervisor experience required.
• RDMS License/Certification or equivalent, and Basic Life Support (BLS) required within the first 30 days of employment.
• Associate Degree – Sonography (preferred).
• On‑call vascular experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast preferred; training available.
• Day shift work schedule (United States).
