Job summary

VIP Medical Group is seeking a Medical Sonography professional to perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, post-procedure assessments, and medical intakes at Cinco Ranch, TX. You will prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, enter notes in our EMR, and maintain strict patient privacy under HIPAA guidelines.

The role requires an Associate degree in Medical Sonography, at least one year of experience, certification as a Medical Sonographer, and preference for RVT/RVS credentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.

The pay range for this role is:

37 - 45 USD per hour (TX1058_CincoRanch)
