Boart Longyear Ltd. is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic for an on-the-road role in Glendale, AZ.

The position operates on a 14-on/7-off schedule with potential night shifts and involves repairing diesel-powered hydraulics, diagnosing hydraulic issues, and performing routine maintenance to keep rigs running. Candidates should have a HS diploma or equivalent, basic tools knowledge, and be willing to travel across the US.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of FMCSA rules & regulations (preferred) or willingness to learn
• Willingness to travel to field locations across the US
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs on diesel powered hydraulic systems and machinery
• Support and diagnose hydraulic problems to get rigs back in operation
• Perform basic maintenance of equipment
• Work safely to meet compliance requirements
