Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Virginia is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the Managing Partner to drive daily restaurant operations, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

You will lead training, scheduling, inventory management, and food safety; support financial performance and brand standards while pursuing future opportunities as Managing Partner or higher. Eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• 18+ years old minimum.
• Ability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in alignment with SONIC standards and policies.
• Lead training, scheduling, and monitor team performance under the Managing Partner.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns; support financial performance.
