Job summary

SD Fusion LLC, a Sonic Drive-In franchise in La Vista, NE, seeks an Assistant General Manager to help lead a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This is a growth role for someone who loves people, operations, and creating smooth daily routines.

You will assist the General Manager with daily operations, coach crew and shift supervisors, ensure food safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and scheduling, control labor costs, and handle guest concerns.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and operations.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment.
• Basic understanding of P&L, labor costs, and inventory management.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and motivate crew members and shift supervisors to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet budgetary goals.
• Handle scheduling, staffing, and labor management to optimize team performance.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive guest experience at all times.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Step in as acting General Manager in the GM's absence.
