Job summary

SD Fusion LLC, a Sonic Drive-In franchise operator in La Vista, NE, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You’ll partner with the GM to oversee daily operations, guest service, and staff development, while upholding food safety and cost controls.

You’ll manage scheduling, training, and performance, with opportunities for advancement in a vibrant fast-food environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in restaurant management or supervision, preferably fast service
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations
• Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards
• Lead, coach, and motivate crew members and shift supervisors to deliver exceptional customer service
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to meet budgetary goals
• Handle scheduling, staffing, and labor management to optimize team performance
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive guest experience at all times
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
• Step in as acting General Manager in the GM's absence

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in quick service or fast food
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations best practices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment
• Basic understanding of P&L, labor costs, and inventory management
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
