General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in the Connecticut area seeks an engineer to join the SONAR Systems team responsible for development, qualification, integration, testing and fleet support of contractor furnished and government furnished SONAR arrays and sensors for submarine classes.

The role spans concept through post-delivery support, including interface with NAVSEA, shipyards, NAVY Labs, Government vendors and EB departments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree by May 2027 in Electrical, Systems, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform systems engineering from concept to post-delivery support.
• Interface with NAVSEA, Naval Shipyards, NAVY Labs, and stakeholders.
• Conduct technology investigations, trade-studies, and risk assessment.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and ensure producible end products.
