Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Solutions Estimator to bridge entry-level and senior estimating teams, delivering accurate cost estimates for large-scale RFPs and complex scopes across verticals such as data centers, healthcare, and education.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure accurate costs, timelines, and feasibility, while staying current on security tech and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in estimating, project management, or system design for physical security projects.
• Experience with large-scale RFPs, greenfield opportunities, and programmatic customer projects.
• Strong understanding of vertical market requirements (healthcare, data centers, government, education, financial institutions).
• Ability to read and analyze construction documents, drawings, specifications, and technical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for large-scale RFPs, greenfield projects, and complex scopes.
• Bridge the gap between entry-level estimators and senior design/estimating professionals with ownership of medium-to-large opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure estimates reflect costs, resources, and timelines.
• Source pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and partners to meet project specifications.
• Identify scope gaps and risks to provide innovative value engineering solutions.
