Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Solutions Estimator to bridge junior and senior estimators while preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale RFPs and complex security projects.

You will analyze requirements, coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement, and source pricing from vendors to meet project specs. This role emphasizes programmatic customers, along with growth opportunities within a winning, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of estimating, project management, or system design experience in electronic security projects.
• Experience with large-scale RFPs, greenfield opportunities, and programmatic customer projects.
• Ability to read construction documents, drawings, and technical scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for medium to large-scale RFPs and complex scopes.
• Bridge the gap between junior and senior estimators, owning medium-to-large opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement and PM teams to ensure accurate costs and timelines.
• Source pricing from vendors and subs to meet project specs.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities to improve pricing and feasibility.
