Teleport is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a mid-market SE team and serve as the technical backbone of our go-to-market motion.

You will mentor engineers, drive discovery, POC strategies, and executive communications while partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering to secure complex deals across regions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Solutions Engineering team or equivalent.
• Proven success in pre-sales motions and POC design.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native tech and security.
• Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Extend and develop a team of Solutions Engineers.
• Coach on technical depth and sales excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams at large tech companies.
• Assist customers in security, compliance, and dev experience.
• Visit customers on-site to demonstrate features and build solutions.
• Set performance goals and career plans for SEs.
• Balance SE utilization with regional sales leaders.
• Engage executives to build long-term relationships post-sale.
