Job summary

Magna International Limited is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager for Magna New Mobility to lead a team of solutions engineers designing and deploying AMR systems in manufacturing facilities. You will guide proposals, layouts, and integration plans while collaborating with Customer Success, Product, Deployment, and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in solutions engineering or technical project management, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of lean manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions engineering, systems integration, or technical project management in manufacturing or automation.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, lean principles, and automation technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed. (25%)
• Experience with AMR platforms and fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting AMR systems in manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing clients to understand operational challenges and design tailored AMR solutions that integrate with existing workflows and systems.
• Oversee the development of technical proposals, layouts, and integration plans that align with customer requirements and manufacturing best practices.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Product, Deployment, and Engineering teams to align customer feedback with product capabilities and solution design.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AMR technologies, industrial automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Continuously refine customer qualification methodologies, documentation, and tools to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Partner with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and system performance.
