Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense in the Greater Los Angeles area seeks a Solutions Engineer to support Sales, Installation Ops, and Design with permitting and water-system feasibility. You’ll validate water availability, assist with regulatory navigation, and help ensure project buildability from early design to field deployment.

You will work hybrid, travel to field sites across Southern California, and translate hydraulic concepts into practical, compliant solutions that protect homes from wildfire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience with permitting processes, municipal codes, or regulatory approvals (CA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, water supply, and system design.

Responsibilities

• Own technical evaluation to enable sales, design, and installation to close deals.
• Lead complex evaluations and provide design guidance on system layout.
• Assess water supply, pressure, and permitting requirements for projects.
• Serve as a technical resource for projects requiring engineering input or regulatory navigation.
• Translate client needs into buildable wildfire sprinkler system solutions.
• Provide guidance to Sales and Project Management on system design and implementation.
