Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense seeks a Solutions Engineer to support Sales, Design, and Installation Ops with hydraulic, water supply, and permitting expertise across Southern California. You’ll evaluate water availability, pressure, and regulatory requirements to keep projects moving.

You’ll work hybrid, traveling to field sites 2–4 days a week in the Greater Los Angeles area, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure buildable, compliant sprinkler solutions that protect homes from

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in hydraulic or related engineering fields.
• Experience with permitting, codes, or regulatory approvals (CA preferred).
• Familiarity with water distribution systems and hydraulics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Hybrid role with field visits 2–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic evaluations and assist with complex projects.
• Provide design guidance on system layout for field feasibility.
• Research local codes and coordinate with water authorities for permits.
• Travel to field sites 2–4 days per week across Southern California.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and operations to ensure project execution.
• Document permitting processes and hydraulic analyses for reuse.
