Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Applications Engineer to join the Servo Valve team in East Aurora, NY. You will serve as a trusted technical partner to customers, helping troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, select products, and solve complex system-level problems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to travel ~20–25% domestically. Onsite work in Buffalo and East Aurora area.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of engineering experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or electromechanical systems.
Excellent communication and ability to explain complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical resource for customers using Moog servo valve solutions.
Diagnose and resolve system-level issues involving hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
Recommend products and solutions aligned with customer performance objectives.
Provide troubleshooting, system optimization, product selection and application guidance.
