OpenTent is a nonprofit-focused, Salesforce-driven consultancy hiring a Solutions Engineer / Salesforce Developer for a fixed-term 9-month role. We partner with organizations that see community building as a core part of their work. Together, we build customized (and beautiful) data tools and strategies to make their work easier and more impactful. Our primary tool is Salesforce, and we work with clients to not only migrate their data and improve data management, but to make sure that what they measure is actually driving growth and impact. We’re now in our 11th year and with 13 full-time team members.
You will work on a team with other Solutions Engineers, a Project Manager, and a Product Owner. You will be responsible for building and configuring Salesforce solutions for client requests, both proactively and reactively.

This is a fixed-term, full-time (W2) employee position for a term of 9 months based on current business need. Whether this position continues beyond 9 months depends on business conditions at that time. If business needs support it, this position may convert to an ongoing full-time role at or before the end of the term.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000-$130,000/year depending on experience. We are a remote-first workplace, but we prioritize being together in person for meaningful work, team gatherings, and client visits with generous policies.
